Virginia to Ontario

We're home!  After 17,370 kilometers since January 4, , we're home a day early!  We arrived at about 8:50 pm., within about 30 minutes of the time Ema [our GPS] predicted when she calculated the route home from PCB. It's now 10:20 and over the last hour we've already got half our stuff put away [well, Joan has actually].   

Today's trip was quite uneventful, the weather cooling as we came North, but clear skies all day.  The first sign of snow in the fields was in upper state NY when the temperature was just above freezing. Nothing serious at all.  The fine driving spurred us on, trying to avoid the winds and rain predicted for tomorrow over parts of our route.  At home, there is still snow where it was piled earlier, but the streets are quite dry.

The next challenge will be to awaken our home computer, a tower that seems to refuse to turn on...
