Finally made it to the beach yesterday: Hutchinson Island Beach to be precise. Hutchinson Island is one of those barrier islands with the full Atlantic ocean at the East and the Intracoastal Waterway on the West side of the island. It's a pretty long affair with a few bridges along the way to connect to the mainland.
As you can see from above, the sand is sand coloured, not the white sand of Grayton Beach where we'll be in March, but that's another story...
The next shot is of one wet dog, about to get a lot wetter...
Craigen is a flat-coated retriever, and quite persistent when retrieving. That was her in the previous picture, headed for the soft frisbee that she's showing off here. What fun!
