Pat and Charlie called us to say that a Great Horned Owl was roosting in a tree near their place. I had not expected the Owl roosting in a palm tree, but here he/she is.
This picture is cropped to the limit, but I think it still shows the magic of such a large [22'l 44" wing span] bird right here in our neighbourhood.
