For those with long memories, you might remember what a fiasco we had renting through VRBO in Bonita Springs a few years back. You'll also remember that it all ended up for the better, but that story's already been shared.
One fond memory of Bonita Springs is their Pot-shop. Joan and I had really enjoyed their wares and return visits have happened very year since.
This year Peter and I drove to Bonita Springs again to check out the merchandise. It turns out they've expanded dramatically and now there's essentially no parking at all! The pottery filled up every square inch available. Hey, just exactly what kind of Pot-shop do you think we would like, let alone re-visit. Bad!
As you can tell, they have a huge inventory that kind of has its own story.
Of course, every Pot-shop has mushrooms, right? [...and just how did you know that?...]
New to the inventory were different sizes and shapes of head masks that would be smashing in a large garden.
When we were first there, Joan and I really liked these water fountains: they are self contained, quite loud, and require no special installation skills. We've regretted not buying one earlier, now we doubly regret our past caution: the price has more than tripled! ... and, to add insult to injury, the dollar is lower now than it was back then.
He who hesitates might end up being one opportunity behind for the rest of their days...
Parking lots 'down here' often surprise me with exotic toys from all over the place. Here's a tricycle from Québec, likely a trailer queen. Made by Polaris, the 'winter toys' people.
So there you have it, a brief summary of some of what we've been up to in the last few days: not much, just lots.
