At around two this morning, the rains came down with a vengeance. This shot was made in our lanai. Note that screens are not very good at keeping water out.
After last night's much needed heavy rains, this morning was clothed in heavy fog. This a view 'out back' behind our lanai.
After a short walk across the street, these freshly planted palms, just beyond the property fence.
These were planted only a few days ago, and they are very well staked. The root-ball is surprisingly small at less than 2' around. It is quite amazing that these palms will all grow.
Just a little farther down the road from our building is this small round-about at the end of Palazzo way. The palm in the middle is likely my favourite type.
