De Funiak Springs, Florida!!

Here we are in Florida, much earlier than planned. It seems we've been driving ahead of storms since we left, and that's a good thing. We ran the day with rain and ice pellets all day. Louisiana has a special coating on the Interstate 10 and you don't get any spray from the wet road. I've encountered this before in Toronto and I always thought this was a reasonable thing to do, no matter what the cost. But I digress.

We stopped for the night in De Funiak Springs Florida because this was easier than taking our chances further south. With any luck, the expected snow storm should happen later in the day tomorrow and we'll reach Grayton and negotiate a good rate at our 'March' place. I'll keep you updated.
