Another transit and we're now in Texas. Once again we were surrounded by mountains in the distance for most of the day, and didn't really have any huge hills to bear. Texas is a big state with a big attitude; speed limit is 80 mph which is just fine for a transit.
At lunch time we stopped in at a Flying J for lunch to build up our discount points for their gasoline. At one point, Flying J was just a great deal, even without their frequent fueler program. Now their prices are sort of competitive with the frequent fueler program making them much more competitive. Our discount level for this month is .05 / gal and if we spend another $12. in their store / restaurant this month, will give us a .05 / gal discount for March, when we head home. Not a bad deal when their smorgasbord lunch is only $8.95.
All that to say that when we were stopped for lunch, we saw this next scene at the gas station. Talk about traveling with all your toys, including a Smart car.

Note that the Smart Car is crossways to the direction of travel.
