Romeo and Julieta

On Friday, Kathleen reserved a table for four at Romeo and Julieta, a neighbourhood hangout and restaurant. The name implies 'Italian' to me, but it's a polish run restaurant, with the compulsory large servings.

Here's Joan, intently checking out the scene in the following picture.

The ceiling is metal, the bar extensive, with Trump on the appropriate left, and the overall effect busy.

Here's the ceiling above us, with the light fixture base on the lower left.

There were a few 'wine cellars' scattered around the place, backing up an extensive and somewhat expensive wine list.

The round glass over the wine barrel above, covers wine corks with a string of Christmas lights. I'm not sure we would have enjoyed eating at that table.

The food was good, the servings large, and there were leftovers.  The service was slow, but the company was great and we all laughed a lot:  a very pleasant evening with Family.
