We landed here at about 2:30pm, and the car was empty and parked at three. Stuffing stuff in drawers and closets will take longer...
After a welcomed beer with Peter, sandals, shorts and short sleeves were in order to walk Cragen, which Peter & I did while the ladies went grocery shopping. All in all, we're here! The temperature is about 29ºC, the air conditioner is working, and the world is unfolding as it should.
We had a very short downpour before supper, apparently the first rain since October. Hard to tell, since everything is green as it should be...
Still no pictures, but that should change soon. It's kind of strange to think that Christmas is still to come when we've already had ours, but I'm sure we'll get over it...
Thanks to all that sent us good vibes for safe travel: we really managed to dodge all the really bad weather that is going on right now, and we're safely ensconced with friends who laugh a lot. Is that great or what?
