Crooked Pond Crt to Savana Georgia

We managed to leave at the crack of dawn, meaning 9:30am, and started in heavier traffic that just got heavier most of the day. We had major delays on the Interstate 75 and eventually crossed over to the east side, namely Daytona Beach, not exactly the shortest way north.

This alternate route was not much better until the traffic got to be as bad as what we tried to avoid.  All in all, the expected delays were over two hours and we ended up quitting early so we are still about a couple of hours behind schedule.

The good part is that the interstate roads are excellent, the weather warm and sunny.

It seems we have managed to avoid the snowbird migration, but landed in the peak of Spring break.

Maybe tomorrow will be better.
