Evening Walk at Gulf Harbor Marina

Pat and Charlie have finally arrived in Ft Myers, and we shared Zulu Shrimp, a drive by the eagle nest, and a sunset walk at the marina in our local gated community.

We walked, talked, laughed, and caught up on news of friends back home. We found our way to a small man-made barrier island that protects the marina. The many large boats reflected the wealth of their owners. Here is a very small section of a very large private boat.

The barrier island is long [100+ feet?] and narrow with a few very small beaches on the Gulf side.

There are also benches along the walking path, where you can sit quietly and meditate the wonders of every day.

This gentleman drifted off into peaceful sleep. What a stunning and quiet place to have a nap. Life is good.
