Wednesday at Ding Darling

My weekly Ding Darling visit is always a source of new sightings, something new to see or experience. Sorry I forgot to press the right buttons before Friday...

This is a Reddish Egret walking with a purpose.

White Pelicans Incoming!  When large birds come in for a landing, it is like a busy airport. Such order out of what could have been a monumental mix-up.

These next two shots are sort of a before and after...

As usual, a Snowy Egret always gathers notice.

Next is a Cormorant just sitting in a dormant bush. What a colourful beak and throat.

Some trees have a red skin that peels off: Phyllis calls them Tourist trees...

This one also has a parasitic vine with bright red leaves.  Makes for an interesting shot.

Many of you have heard me say: "It's easy when you know."

Herewith the question: "Which way?"

And finally, one of the local butterflies on a thistle.
