Today is Saturday: top-down day, shorts-day, and a good day to go to the San Diego Wildlife Center. So we did! They had elephants, rhinos, all kinds of other African animals, and the ones I came to see: the big cats!
This beautiful male Lion seems to be praying: " Lord, make all these tourists just go away, Please"....
This big cat is a cheetah, a very fast running cat that seems to sleep a lot in this African scene... Here's one with eyes open!

This lady was actually yawning, but still looks pretty fierce, wouldn't you say?
This sweet-heart just looks like a lion should: regal, content and a 'don't mess with me' kind of look.
Big question for the grandkids: how many lions and how many cheetahs are there in these pictures? Be careful...Tomorrow, a car show! Yea!!!
