Hogg Park

A warmer [read hotter] than usual day calls for a park with water. Nick packed everyone a lunch, the herd was eventually organized and we ended up at Hogg Park.  It is a camping area that suffered badly from the floods of a few years ago, and opened recently.

Across the water was this cliff full of swallow nests: how busy is that?

These two were right near me and squawking pretty loudly as I was near their nest...

Across the water were some pretty neat cliffs where the intrepid could climb up to jump off into deep water. Here's Nick preparing to make a big hole in the water.

Of course, three at a time is much more spectacular...

Nick, Eric and Jacob.

And lastly, here's Jacob doing a flip that he landed successfully.

It is sad that weekends go by so quickly.  Good weekends are special and this one was great. Aren't families fun?
